Spring at Hand Picked Hotels

Following a grim winter, the Easter break provides a good excuse to escape and make the most of the countryside.

Just a few miles from London, the Surrey hills is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty of rolling chalk downs dotted with wild flowers, heaths with gorse and heather and ancient woodlands - providing some of the best walking country in Southern England.

Our hotel in Cobham, Woodlands Park, is close to some spectacular countryside, including Box Hill and the Greensand Way which runs from Kent to Surrey.

The North York Moors provide over 1,400 miles of paths and tracks for some serious walking, cycling and horse riding.

Crathorne Hall Hotel, Yarm, North Yorkshire, is close to the moors and makes an excellent base for exploring the countryside and the east coast of Yorkshire. The hotel is hosting a gourmet evening with a five-course dinner on Easter Sunday, 8 April.

The wild beauty of the Trossachs National Park and Loch Lomond for walking and watersports are around an hour’s drive away from Norton House Hotel and Spa, just outside Edinburgh.

The hotel has an award-winning spa and a 3 rosette restaurant for an indulgent end to an outdoor day.

A belated report on the L'Horizon!A life changing experience in April whilst staying here.I had been suffering severe pain in my shoulders for many months but after a deep tissue massage by Jane Greene a transformation took place - no pain!!Tension released and Jane assured that with 2 more treatments i would be cured. Thus I booked another break in May and YES my life has been turned round.Jane is a miracle worker she deserves more than a 'medal'!!I will be returning very soon as this hotel is my little piece of heaven on earth!!Must join the loyalty club!See you in Sevenoaks one day??Very best wishes Sue.

My husband and I have just spent 10 days at your Woodland Park Hotel in Cobham and I would like to say how wonderful the hotel is, but also the staff nothing was too much trouble for any of them. It was an absolute delight and we will be returning very shortly. Thank You all once again.
